Support your school

Support your school is a free fundraising platform, enabling you to raise funds from parents and local businesses to support children's literacy.

Do you dream of a new library or reading corner, or long for new books in your classroom? Having a school library can make such a difference to a childs reading journey, but finding the funds to invest in a library space can be tricky.

Thats why Support your school was launched, a free fundraising platform enabling schools to raise funds from parents, carers and local businesses to support children’s literacy. 100% of donations will go towards books and furniture for your school.

Support your school is managed by Peters, the UKs leading specialist supplier of books and furniture for school libraries.

Our families are not very affluent, so we reached out beyond the school community and to the charities we worked with, as well as the communities in the surrounding area. A lot of our children dont have access to books at all – the parents don’t have the funds to buy new books, or a place to store them. But now they will have access to a library, which will draw them into reading. Our Support your school campaign was very easy for me to set up and I think that’s why its good for class teachers and English leads and other staff with little time in the week. Support your school was very straightforward to set up and use, and the customer service was excellent. The layout of the fundraising page made it easy for parents to donate money and we were able to keep track of the amount of money raised. We raised £230 to purchase a selection of award-winning fiction for the school library. The Elton High School

We chose Support your school because of the great support, and it made it easy to fundraise. We carried out many fun events, such as a Halloween and Christmas party, and it was great to be able to share the book fundraising page easily with staff and parents. It has been a number of years since the school has received new books, so this was a much-needed campaign. The thanks from the teachers and children have made us very proud of what we have achieved. Christina, fundraising committee chairman, Beeston Primary School
