Do you dream of a new library or reading corner, or long for new books in your classroom? Having a school library can make such a difference to a child’s reading journey, but finding the funds to invest in a library space can be tricky.
That’s why Support your school was launched, a free fundraising platform enabling schools to raise funds from parents, carers and local businesses to support children’s literacy. 100% of donations will go towards books and furniture for your school.
Support your school is managed by Peters, the UK’s leading specialist supplier of books and furniture for school libraries.
‘Our families are not very affluent, so we reached out beyond the school community and to the charities we worked with, as well as the communities in the surrounding area. A lot of our children don’t have access to books at all – the parents don’t have the funds to buy new books, or a place to store them. But now they will have access to a library, which will draw them into reading.
